Psalmory ("we", "the app") is operated by Psalmory. This policy explains what the app does with information.
What we collect
Psalmory has no accounts. Your saved verses, favorites, quiz scores, badges, reading position and settings are stored only on your own device (browser local storage on the web, app storage on Android) and are never sent to us. The one exception is the optional web reminders described below.
Reminders (optional)
If you turn on web reminders (the verse of the day, or streak alerts), Psalmory stores a small record on its server so it can send them: your browser’s push address, your time zone, your reminder time, your current streak count and the date you last read. It does not include your name, email, reading history, saved verses or quiz results. Turn reminders off in Your journey and the record is deleted. Messages are delivered through your browser’s own push service (for example Google, Mozilla or Apple).
Audio
Narration for the Berean Standard Bible is streamed from a third-party host, so that host can see your device’s IP address as with any web request. Voice lookup and device read-aloud use your browser or device speech features; we do not receive or store your voice.
Advertising
The website shows ads served by a third-party ad network, and the Android app shows ads served by Google AdMob. Ad networks may use cookies, the Android advertising ID or similar technologies to show and measure ads. On Android you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in Settings, Privacy, Ads; on the web you can use your browser privacy settings.
Third-party links
The Live section links to websites run by other organizations. We do not control their content or privacy practices.
Children
Psalmory is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
